Boise- Temple open house.

I thought I was free of traveling till Thanksgiving, Then Alex on Thursday said lets go to Boise for the temple open house and lets get a hotel and spend time together :) WOOHOO.. So I started to do laundry for our trip and cleaned the house and got ready to go!! We had the best weekend. We left around five after Alex got off work. I love being in the car because I feel like we catch up we are usually so busy during the week that I get a few mins at dinner time with my husband so it was nice to have 2 and a half hours to myself. Paysen slept the whole way. We ate at Texas Roadhouse and got our meal for free because it took awhile which we didn't even notice :) So that was nice. And then we went and checked into our hotel and Alex surprised me with a MASTER SUITE... With a big jacuzzi tub in the room.. It was so much fun. So we went swimming in the big pool as soon as we got there and I relaxed in the hot tub why my boys played and swam. It was heavenly. We stayed the next day till noon then went to the temple.

The open house was so nice. We saw so many people that we knew it was our Stake day so it was so nice to see so many from our Stake there. Paysen loved all of the lights and looking at everything. It was beautiful!! It was so nice to be inside the temple we haven't been since Paysen has been born and so we both loved being there even though we didn't do any work. WE are this next Tuesday and we can't wait!! It was so good to be there. It will be dedicated this Sunday. So we are excited to go to the dedication.

Time out for women!!

Paysen and I drove down to go to Time Out For Women with my mom and sister Kaylee. We had such a fun weekend together! Paysen didn't cry once on the trip down so we didn't even have to stop. We met my mom in Sherwood at the ice arena, she took her international club there for a field trip so it was fun to hang out with her there. She had so many kids this year I cant believe all that she does. It was fun to ice skate with my mom too:) Kaylee met us there and we were off for the night for time our for women. Us girls had the time of our life!! It was so uplifting and inspiring and we laughed constantly!! Paysen did so well too and I didn't have to take him out at all and he never cried, he is honestly such a good baby!!

Jenny Oaks Baker played the violin she was amazing. I loved her sense of humor as well when it came to being a mom. My favorite quote from her was "Don't stress the little stuff, but do stress the spiritual things in life." She was so good. She is Elder Oaks is daughter. She was so good in fact that Kaylee bought three of her cds :)

Also Sherry Dew was there and spoke about women hood. The whole thing was just excellent. The next day was also just as amazing. Hillary Weeks was who did the music. My favorite quote from her is when she was talking about her daughter eating mac and cheese on their mommy daughter date and she was talking about a game of freeze tag that she played and she talked about the pivital moment that was and she said I will only know my children as children for a short while but I will know them as adults for the rest of eternity. Then she played a song that went with it. We also heard from amazing speakers the whole day.

It was such a refreshing weekend and so fun to spend it with my mom and Kaylee. I needed quality girl time. We had the best conversations driving to and from. Loved it. I think it will be a new tradition of ours:)

Paysen fell asleep on Kaylee during it. Too sweet

Little Baby things to... Bigger Boy things.

Paysen is growing so fast that we are having to start to pack up his little baby things and replace them with older things. It makes this momma kinda sad but its so fun to watch him at this age learn new things and really see his personality come out. We took down his swing and bought him a saucer!! He is in heaven he loves all the toys around him and the first day getting it he could play with all of them and knew what to do with each thing. I was surprised! He also can spin himself around :) Fun to watch him in it. We also got a high chair for him on the same day ( he's a tad spoiled ) He loves to sit in it and pound on his tray and have toys up there. It is so nice to cook dinner and him up high so we can play in between things etc.

Saucer time.. He figured out real quick what this was for:)
