This is the Place

While in Utah we also went to this is the place monument, Where Brigham Young announced that the long journey was over and that this is where they would settle. There is such a sweet spirit that is there. I haven't been there since I was little. Gordon B. Hinckley rededicated it and made it more of a monument. It was great to be with our little family there and reflect on the pioneers. We admire their faith and their conversion of the gospel such great examples to endure through all things for the Kingdom of God. I know that when we left Alex and I reflected on our own testimonies and how we were strengthened after leaving here :)

This was our favorite statue a family that had made the journey then giving thanks to God for helping them make it and showing much gratitude for the Journey.
