We had a great fourth.. Alex had the whole day off so we took our time getting up and getting ready :) we then headed with Alex's family to Wallowa Lake. This was the first time that I had ever been up there.. the drive was breath taking and it was a gorgeous day!! There were so many rivers and lakes and farm after farm so breathtaking. We saw the minim river and I told of the time that we camped and rafted down with Uncle Dan and his family, fun memories. We stopped in Lostine and ate at a Tavern there and got a HUGE hamburger to share.. Alex's Aunts and Uncles were up there selling things. So it was fun to visit with them. They had a big flea market going on so that was fun. Paysen did so good. We then left and went through Joseph I really fell in love with this little town. We got homemade pepperoni sticks that were to die for.. It was so fun to be together and to enjoy a trip away. Up at the lake we went for a beautiful walk. We did Go Carts.. I rode with Alex and I am never driving again we laughed so hard the entire time and could really slide around each corner with two of us. we barely fit in the tiny thing but too funny and so FUN!! We caught up to everyone so fun to pass them. The best was trying to catch Cole!! We are still laughing. It was only a dollar for me to ride with Al:) My mother in law watched Paysen while we went too sweet. We then headed back to La Grande for the big firework show.. One year we want to watch them on the Lake they shoot them off in the middle of it. But too much with a new baby. So we watched them up at my in laws, and stayed in the car! We could see them perfectly. We then went home. It was a long day but a lot of fun! Here are some pictures...
